Ad-aware OE/WM Control allows you to "Enable" or "Disable" the Windows Messenger which loads with Outlook Express on Windows XP. When opening Outlook Express on XP, Messenger launches in the background.
Messenger is not the same as the Windows Messenger Service which is being used to exploit Spam. A plug-in for that can be downloaded from
here.
