AlmerBackup is a backup utility for Windows 95/98/ME/2000/NT4/XP, that can be trusted to safeguard your important files. AlmerBackup can be set to backup your files automatically on a schedule in background mode, without your having to be there. You customize your AlmerBackup one time and all of your data will be safe from any software glitches, hardware failure or even power outages.
AlmerBackup can do the usual actions expected of backup software, such as: scheduled backups and archival backups to compressed formats. But, it can also backup to other resources on a network, backup to virtually all types of removable devices, and incremental backups of revisions with comprehensive history tracking. Some of the many types of devices supported are: floppy disks, hard drives, network drives, FTP-server, Zip drives, JAZ drives, SyQuest drives and most of other removable devices.
