"The way I made it work is by setting the game's EXE compatibility to one from Windows 9x/ME.
Steps: 1) Right-click the program's EXE or the shortcut to it 2) Click on the Compatibility tab 3) Check the box (if it isn't already) labeled "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" 4) Select "Windows 98 / Windows Me" from the drop-down below the checkbox."
