"I run a dual-core CPU on an HP laptop. This will not run; I get an error message that the firewall drivers fail to load. Ironically, it says to contact PC Tools Support, but there is no support for this product at PC Tools, undoubtedly because this is their only free product."

"Updated PC Tools Fire wall & it came with the Threat Fire thing. I loaded it and it locked my pc, After a reboot my PC was locked up! Thank god for safe mode to uninstall the software. Been using PC Tools Fire Wall for some time now and so far (as of today!) the new version 4 is all right. Do yourself a big favor and DO NOT OPT OR CHECK THE LOAD THREAT FIRE OPTION ON THE INSTALL FOR THE FIRE WALL!"

"Works fine on Vista Home Premium. No installation issues. Uncheck the Threatfire box upon installation as noted- you can install it separately later as it is a fine program. A solid firewall and free."
