"I've done everything outlined on MS support for this game to get it to work on 2k. No go. I get an message about 'crimson.icd.exe' causing an error and needing to restart the program. I've installed the new Safedisc driver, installed the 1.02 patch, even cleared my temp folder. I've installed minimal and maximum. I've done it all again logged in as Administrator. Same error every time.
I can play Starlancer fine. Came out around the same time. Very frustrating. One of my favorite games and I just want to play it again!!"

"I can sometimes get the game to start, but some (not all) of the text is unreadable. Other times the game instantly crashes to the desktop. I tried setting CPU affinity to CPU0 only, and everything on MS support website. If I can find my old Win98 CD, i'll try dual boot/virtual machine.
