"The game actually works in some systems and in some not. For make the game work it has to be patched this way: first the 1.0a, second the 1.0a (second revision) and then the 1.0c.

The 1.0a patch can be downloaded here

About the patches

The 1.0a (second revision) is the patch, I belive, that REALLY make the game works under XP. After I installed the 1.0a the game still goes to desktop after the videos, but when I install the 1.0a (second revision) it works!!!, then I install the 1.0c and stills works.

When I read the update description it says: "Environment mapped bump mapping is now fully operational" (a BIG lie, there is no bump mapping in the game, but hey, who am I to argue with developers...). Reading the 1.0a (second revision) description it says: "Environment mapped bump mapping is now fully operational, Bug fix for Pentium III E processors, bug fix for Rage Mobility graphics hardware".

Conclusion: Or the bug fix for Pentium III made the miracle, or it was the bug fix for the Rage Mobility. Any way, after the second path I was able to run it under Windows XP Professional in Direct3D mode. I have to remind everyone that thanks to Uncle Bill we have 2 versions of XP, the shitty home and the professional. Knowing how home runs some games and applications it's highly probably that it will not works..."
