Create Bootable ISO Files on USB, DVD with Windows USB/DVD Download Tool
By Timothy Tibbetts |
Windows USB/DVD Download Tool is a free Microsoft app designed to allow you to create a copy of an ISO onto a USB or DVD.
While originally written for Windows 7 (it's even called Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool), we discovered that the app still works perfectly on Windows 10. We've included all 10 languages and the source code.
Windows USB/DVD Download Tool requires installation but has a simple step-by-step interface that anyone should find easy to use.
If you download an ISO file for creating a bootable file from a DVD or USB drive, just copy the Windows ISO file onto your drive, you can then run the Windows USB/DVD Download Tool. From there you can install Windows directly from your USB or DVD drive.
