Alternate Splitter is a lightweight free file management tool that allows for the splitting and combining files into multiple or single files.

This process can be quite useful when the need to archive files on multiple media or when you need to combine MP3 and MPG files; it can also be of use when you need to disseminate them online. For instance, there is an attachment size limit with your email service.
