DeskoverX is a program to replace the static desktop wallpaper with several useful or interestingly animated backgrounds. Possible backgrounds include screensavers, an beautifully animated 3D globe, slideshows of favourite pictures or webcams and a webbrowser that can display useful information from e.g. newssites, weathersites, your own local webpages, etc.
