FreeDOS is a free, DOS-compatible operating system that you can use to play classic DOS games or anything that required DOS.
Theoretically, any program that works on MS-DOS should also run on FreeDOS. Some utilities are also provided.
FreeDOS should run on any Intel 386 or better with 2MB of memory and 40MB disk space.
FreeDOS is a complete operating system that will delete whatever is on your partition. It is not designed to be on your main computer. To be sure you don't overwrite your current operating system, consider using FreeDOS in a virtual machine like VirtualBox.
