Open Fodder is an Open Source version of the Cannon Fodder game, an action-strategy shoot-'em-up game developed by Sensible Software and published by Virgin Interactive.

Open Fodder is military-themed and based on shooting action but with a strategy game-style control system. The player directs troops through numerous missions, battling enemy infantry, vehicles and installations.

When you play, the game asks for the game file locations, but we were able to ignore it and get to the main screen and play.

Open Fodder supports five demos from the Amiga platform and three retail releases.

Open Fodder includes a Javascript interpreter design for you to be able to create your own customized maps. Other scripts are included, which give you the ability to implement other features like randomized hostages, helicopters, and more. All these scripts can be altered for your personal gameplay.
