Windows Media Player Plus! includes the following enhancements:
Windows Media Player Plus! is written for Windows Media Player 11 or higher.
-New: support for showing the currently playing media in Skype's mood message.
-Fixed: broken music playback and C00D11B1 errors in Windows Media Player 12 when trying to play a DRM-protected WMA file after a normal, unprotected file (or vice versa). Special thanks to Smeddlesboy for reporting and for testing a fix.
-Fixed: possible crashes when Windows Media Player Plus! failed to initialize properly (e.g. due to an unhandled error). Special thanks to halonachos117 for reporting.
-Fixed: possible crash when switching to Library mode after Windows Media Player was started in Now Playing mode, and library disc number support was enabled. Special thanks to Orest for reporting and for testing a fix.
-Fixed: on Windows 7 and 8 with User Account Control turned on, Windows Media Player Plus! incorrectly disabled the MPEG-4 tag support of WMP Tag Plus 2.0 or higher (lower versions of WMP Tag Plus always have their MPEG-4 tag support disabled because of compatibility issues).
-Fixed: Windows Live Messenger 'What I'm Listening To' wasn't updated for CD tracks.
-Fixed: visual glitches when the current song changed in Party Shuffle mode and the Party Shuffle playlist was visible in the (centered) Details pane. Special thanks to Steve Swift for reporting.
-Fixed: Windows Media Player Plus! always asked to configure Party Shuffle when it hadn't been configured yet, even when Windows Media Player was running invisibly in the background (such as is the case with Windows Media Center).
-Fixed: when showing the currently playing media in the title bar of Windows Media Player 11 on Vista, the title bar didn't get updated properly.
