(More) Rumors about the Apple iPhone 5 release

More rumors based off the rumors of the rumor of the other rumors from 500 other websites. Got that? All Things D is reporting that AT&T has blacked out employee vacations for the last two weeks in September. Their source somehow seems to think this means an October release however we at Majorgeeks wonder why they would need all hands on deck BEFORE the launch.

If you are into rumors then this gives you something to discuss but we still think all signs point to mid-September launch when all AT&T employees are actually required to be at work. That said, their source says:

“I don’t know why AT&T’s calling for all hands on deck those weeks, but it’s not for an iPhone launch."

Apple is usually pretty good about keeping things under wraps so maybe they have a different surprise in store? Frankly they have not surprised anyone in the last couple years anyway.

Just call me when it's out. Thanks.
