Every so often you find a home run on Ebay. Maybe you have seen this one? “Creamed Possum with Sweet Potatoes Garnished in Coon Fat Gravy And Diet Possum.” It comes in a can and costs $7.50 and $5.80 shipping.
Of course it is only a novelty item but not a bad idea. They show they have already sold 30 of them so far. With this purchase you can expect wonderful things. For example:
“And for our Jewish friends, our Possum is, and is cooked Kosher.”
“And it's a big Southern secret that Possum is a great aphrodisiac. I recommend Possum to all older gentlemen. A friend of mine didn't heed my advice. He took some Viagra instead, and some of it got caught and stuck in his throat. For three days he had a stiff neck.”
“We highly recommend that our Possum products are served with red wine, and not white wine.”
“Our real Possum, Nutria, and Coon products are only sold and consumed in the deep South. “
“Nothing says Luvin like Possum in the oven”
"No real live Possum was harmed in the canning of this novelty item."
Great idea but if they shipped it free or lowered the price, it would do much better. $13 bucks for a novelty can?
