One-man gun-making operation that likely has been supplying illegal weapons to people in the city of Syracuse.
According to police, Daniel Seils of Lafayette NY had a 3-D printer that he was using to make the lower part of the gun and barrels he bought online. They recovered 5 completed guns and a machinegun drum in the raid.
These sorts of print models have been around a while and are the subject of much controversy and mix reviews.
In the released photos, one of the weapons looks complete however, in a 2nd photo, there's no way it would work. If you know anything about 3d printing, you can see it is a badly failed ABS print and clearly set up improperly. I wouldn't fire one of these on a dare.
