Any day is a good day to check out these 4 new free games tested and reviewed by the staff at MajorGeeks. You know; all 2 of us.
Boltstorm is about a Knight that ventures into the dungeon to save his fellow knights, but instead he gets trapped and is attacked by merciless executioners.
Amazingly, it was developed during Ludum Dare 34 game jam in only 72 hours.
The goal is to Save the knights, and as your chain grows stronger survive the attack. Leveling up will increase your firing rate and add extra followers, but make the level more difficult while the enemy numbers increase.

Atic Atac is a Spectrum Game Remake built using internal machine code of the original Spectrum game.
The game has been done using C++ QGAME framework build over SDL library.
You might need to be old school to remember the Spectrum but don't let that stop you from taking a trip back in time to this classic game.

Tux Racer lets you take on the role of Tux the Linux Penguin as he races down steep, snow-covered mountains. Extreme Tux Racer is a remake of this 1999 classic.
Enter cups and compete to win the title! Tux Racer includes a variety of options for gameplay, including the ability to race courses in fog, at night and under high winds.
Your journey starts as you compete on local courses. Win and you will unlock other courses and cups that will lead you to more exciting and challenging races. Everyone knows and loves the Tux character so take a look!

Castle Attack 2 is the classic Firefly Studios 2001 game where you defend your castle from attackers.
Castle Attack 2 borrows some of the gameplay dynamics from Stronghold 2, Firefly's Castle Sim, but certain things have been altered to make Castle Attack 2 more fun and stay true to the original Castle Attack. The biggest of these changes is that the enemies in Castle Attack are able to knock down the castle walls with their weapons.
Tested in Windows 7 the game still runs perfectly today.
