A Rant About Microsoft Windows and Phone

Some thoughts that I wanted to get off my chest about Microsoft, Windows, and their so-called phone.
The iPhone 7 is nothing special. Galaxy phones are exploding. Microsoft has an opportunity, but they are laying off people and not listening to the consumer. It seems that 300 people could have written a brand new, modern Windows for phone, tablet, and desktop, something I have always said was needed all along. After all, iOS and Android are all brand new in comparison.
I see them patting each other on the back, and it makes me sick as they act like they're all doing a great job while laying off people and their products suck. It seems like they have their heads in the sand on the most basic concepts. Microsoft should be making better devices and at a better price. THAT IS MICROSOFT. As some phones approach $1,000, that's just ridiculous.
I talk to a lot of people who have computers and don't use them much as they don't need them. Why can't the Microsoft phone look like the Apple and Samsung phones? I would seriously consider a Microsoft phone right now if it worked like the two competitors who dominate the market. Two companies have it right; one has it wrong, and the market has made that clear to everyone but Microsoft.
But, what do I know? Microsoft does not listen to their customers or people like myself who probably use Windows more than they do or ever have.
