Good news, another social network is launching in beta. This one is for “happy people.” I can’t speak for everyone but don’t those happy people tend to annoy most of us?
They say that “Happier is a beautiful way to collect and share happy moments you find in everyday life. Brighten up someone’s day by smiling at their happy moments and get ideas for what to do to be happier!”

It’s not that it’s a horrible idea, after all who doesn’t want to be happy? It’s sort of a social networking site meets a self-help class in a way with articles on being happy.
Well, guess what? It’s the same crap you find on Facebook or Twitter, happy or not. For example:
"Air conditioning seems to be working!"
"Our stuff has finally arrived!
"
"Finding out the dry cleaner is actually open until 6:30, not 6."
"Walking over six miles today. Loving my fitbit."
"Got out for a walk w/ my dog today in between downpours"
"Wine and chocolate. Nothing better"
I wish them luck as I do any entrepreneur but enough with the social networking “ideas”. Just deciding it’s a “happy place” doesn’t make it new, exciting or cutting edge.
