AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd has appeared in court for breaching his bail conditions, following an incident in Tauranga this morning.
Leo Rojas, the owner of Columbus Coffee on Cameron Road in Tauranga, said he witnessed the street altercation between Rudd and another unidentified man at about 10.20am this morning.
Apparently he followed a much larger guy trying to punch him as the guy walked away telling him "look, I don't want to break your face".
The man finally got sick of Rudd trying to attack him and pushed him away with reports saying he “literally fell away like a fly.”
A third man, believed to be the AC/DC drummer's bodyguard, tried to separate Rudd and the taller man by holding Rudd back when Phil started punching and kicking his own bodyguard.
Nope, that’s not all. Apparently he came back to collect his personal things and he started yelling to the customers to “never get involved with the mafia.”
Photos show Rudd being speaking with police and then being driven to Tauranga police station.
