Add black and white effects to photos with Vampix

We listed this piece of software from KC Softwares a little ways back. It proves to be a nice lightweight way to add black and white effects to any image.



Vampix offers extremely easy to use presets that will enhance a color picture into black and white, you will be able to retain color accents for a selected area within the image if desired. You can also make custom color selections, adjust the color threshold, make adjustments to the central color and then tweak them on the fly by increasing/decreasing the distance from the central color.
