Airline crew attacked with prosthetic leg

Posted by: Jon Ben-Mayor on 08/01/2014 08:44 AM [ comments Comments ]

Thomson Flight 297 from Enfidha, Tunisia, to Edinburgh, Scotland had to be diverted to London's Gatwick airport after an intoxicated female passenger began screaming for cigarettes and a parachute. She then attacked crew members with her prosthetic leg along with slapping another passenger in the face. With all this commotion the plane would have been better off making the emergency landing on a Walmart parking lot.

According to the Daily Mail; when the plane landed at Gatwick, police escorted the jobless troublemaker from the plane and immediately arrested her – as relieved passengers broke into a rendition of the Hokey Cokey (or Hokey Pokey for us Yanks).

‘She was shouting, “I want cigarettes” and that she wanted a parachute to jump off the plane. She slapped a young girl and then assaulted the cabin crew with her prosthetic leg.

The woman is due in court to answer the charge of suspicion of using threatening behavior, but with all the witness statements about the incident - it seems she doesn't have a leg to stand on..
