Android Device Manager is now live

Posted by: Timothy Tibbetts on 08/07/2013 01:18 PM [ comments Comments ]

As just reported the other day, Android Device Manager is the Android version of 'Find My iPhone' and it is now available for some. We assume everyone should have it by the weeks end.

It's also a way to find your lost phone, something I do almost daily. You can send a loud ring remotely, which might also be handy if someone stole ,it and you are tracking it down.

The update should push to your device automatically soon so keep an eye out for it. I am getting reports that large markets have the update but being in a mid-sized city, I have not gotten it yet.
