The hacking group Anonymous has declared war against the ISIS in response to the attacks in France on Friday night.
The hacktivist group warned ISIS terrorists in a YouTube video. “These attacks cannot be left unpunished. That's why Anonymous worldwide will track you. We will launch our biggest cyber-attack against you. Wait for many cyber-attacks.”
"We will not give up, we do not forgive," said a person wearing a Guy Fawkes mask. "Expect us."
ISIS regularly uses Twitter to attract new recruits. It has increasingly seen its members attacked and mocked through social media hacks.
A group of Chechen women recently scammed ISIS out of 45 thousand rubles. They lured ISIS members into sending them the money by saying they wanted to join but did not have the funds to travel to Syria. They then cut off contact and lured a second ISIS member into the same scam.
Anonymous said Sunday that more than 2,000 ISIS-related Twitter accounts had been taken down in Operation Paris (#OpParis).
