Anonymous Indonesia bows to Anonymous Australia

Posted by: Timothy Weaver on 11/12/2013 04:54 PM [ comments Comments ]

We reported yesterday that Anonymous Australia had reprimanded Anonymous Indonesia for targeting small business. Apparently, AI took heed because it is claiming to have hacked two web sites for Australia's security services.

Anonymous Australia posted the following tweet:

Indonesians: If You DO NOT Stop attacking Innocent websites, we will be forced to fight back. Stop, This is your last warning.
12:19 AM - 9 Nov 2013

Anonymous Indonesia instead took down the site of the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation (ASIO) and the more secretive Australian Secret Intelligence Service. Neither site has any significance because they are just advertising sites for recruitment.
