Anonymous threatens Anonymous

Posted by: Timothy Weaver on 11/11/2013 04:48 PM [ comments Comments ]

After revelations about the US and Australia spying on the 2007 United Nations climate change conference in Indonesia, Anonymous Indonesia started a spam campaign and has launched a series of attacks on Australian targets to protest the incident.

The targets have not been government sites, but rather small businesses. That hackled the backs of Anonymous Australia who have stated: “These websites that you have been attacking are not affiliated with the Australian government and need to be be left alone.”

Anonymous Australia asks in this video: “What is there to prove? We do not want a cyber-war, do you?”

Anonymous Australia then goes on to provide a list of legitimate defense organizations for its fellow hackers to target.
