As part of an ongoing battle between the KKK and the hacking group anonymous, the hackers are threatening to expose the identities of 1000 KKK members.
Anonymous created a twitter account with a poll to ask visitors whether or not they should expose the KKK members. The polls deadline is Oct. 29th. (Watch for updates).
As of Oct. 28th at 12:54pm, the votes are 88% for revealing and 12% for not.
The feud began between the two when the KKK announced it would protest and cause unrest in Ferguson, Mo. The clan said it would attack the protestors. In response, Anonymous then hacked a KKK-linked account grabbing member names and media account information.
Anonymous said in a post: “After closely observing so many of you for so very long, we feel confident that applying transparency to your organizational cells is the right, just, appropriate and only course of action."
