According to Apple, it has thus far only received nine complaints about bending iPhone 6 Plus devices.
Apple said: If you use the phone normally, bending is "extremely rare."
Apparently, using it normally does not mean putting it in your back pocket and then sitting on it for 18 hours.
Despite the small number of complaints, the reports blew up on social media, where it was dubbed #BendGate.
