Apple sells 100 million iPod touch units – introduces new 16GB model

Apple has told The Loop that they have sold 100 million iPod touch units.
It was launched in 2007 basically being an iPhone without the phone and is one of Apples most popular products.
The iPod touch is also a great portable gaming machine.
Apple also announced today that they have introduced a new 16GB iPod Touch featuring an ultraslim design, 4-inch Retina display, dual-core A5 chip, and Apple EarPods.
Current specs include:
Height: 4.86 inches (123.4 mm)
Width: 2.31 inches (58.6 mm)
Depth: 0.24 inch (6.1 mm)
Weight: 3.04 ounces (86 grams)1
It is available now for $229.
