Apple's shares were down almost percent at $465.55 in early trading on Wednesday, just one day after it unveiled the 5S, a high-end iPhone with a fingerprint scanner as well as the new, cheaper 5C model.
Either way, this is one time Apple’s stock is a gamble. If you listen to analysts, you could go either way. We still lack an Apple TV or new iPad announcements and that could change the game some, depending on how iOS 7 is received.

I have recently come to believe that the tablet market is due to level out since most people have one, they are mostly toys and cost $3-500 to upgrade getting little new for that price. It mirrors the PC market which also got to the point where upgrading simply wasn’t worth it. I went shopping last night myself. I currently own a Galaxy Tab 2 and looked at the Galaxy Tab 3 and iPad with Retina display. I wanted one, I could afford one; I just didn’t see the point of blowing the money on one. Of course, phones are different. Many upgrade every year and the phone market could easily determine how well a company like Apple fares.
Septmeber 18th, IMHO, is the day to watch Apple stock. Does their fanbase show up to buy the new iPhone?
