Apple Suing Qualcomm as Qualcomm Sues Apple

Engadget is reporting that while Apple was busy suing Qualcomm over Snapdragon chips on November 29th, Qualcomm was filing its own lawsuit claiming that phones ranging from the iPhone 7 to the iPhone X violate 16 patents.

These patents include including power-saving methods, interfaces, and even camera autofocus.

It seems most likely that this is more than likely a game of chicken, one that Apple could easily afford to win especially considering the FTC is also investigating Qualcomm for anti-trust practices.
