An important update regarding Norton Ghost.

We’d like to share some important information with you, our valued Norton customer. As of April 30, 2013, Symantec will discontinue sales of Norton Ghost, but will continue to provide support via phone, email and knowledge base through June 30, 2014.

Since it was introduced in 1998, Norton Ghost has provided professional-grade imaging and backup for PCs like yours. Thank you for helping make Norton Ghost such a success. With more than 7 million copies sold, it has backed up more than 6.8 petabytes of Stuff from users like you. That's the same amount of data as:

- About 8.5 billion feature-length movies, which would take 12,000 centuries for you to watch.
-Approximately 2 trillion songs, which would take 44,000 centuries for you to listen to.
- More than 3 trillion photos, which would take 5,600 centuries to view in a slideshow.

I moved to Acronis True Image many years ago so if you are looking for an alternative, everyone at Majorgeeks backs up with Acronis True Image and it is rated a 4.84 with 1,208 Majorgeeks voting so you have double the confidence.
