I guess all the public service announcements that ask pet owners not to leave animals in cars should be expanded to include not leaving your children in hot cars as well.
According to Click Orlando Geneva Little, 30, is facing child neglect charges after she allegedly left two boys, ages 4 and 5, in her car on Wednesday.
Deputies said the incident happened outside the Orange County Jail Visitation Center, where Little was visiting the boys' father.
According to jail records, she logged in at the center at 6:13 p.m. It wasn't until some 29 minutes later that a jail employee spotted the children and called 911 at 6:42 p.m.
Officers said the outside temperature was 89 degrees. The young boys complained of being thirsty and hungry, but otherwise were OK.
"I'm out here for two seconds and I'm dying," said Jennifer Schottler, who lives next door to Little. "I have a 4-year-old and I know 4-year-olds, they don't like to sit still in anything."
