Beware of sites offering to increase your Instagram followers

Want to increase your Instagram followers? There is a scam that will only reduce your bank account. Unlike previous attacks, however, these sites require payment – with the amount depending on the number of followers you prefer.
The site is full of Instagram logos, but has nothing to do with the service. It will ask for your info such as user name, e-mail address, telephone number and payment info. It will accept any info you input, even if it is a dummy account. As fake proof of the scam, it also has a FAQ page.
You won't get the increased followers, only a debit to your payment accounts. This site has a .RU domain name, registered earlier this year and is hosted in Russia. Trend Micro has already blocked these sites, which is only one of many domains registered in Russia.
Instagram’s recent introduction of video means that more users may be looking at using the already-popular service. Users should keep in mind that all offers of added followers – whether it be free or paid – are likely scams that will steal the user’s information, money, or both.
