BlackBerry Messenger to reach iOS, Android on June 27

Posted by: Tim Tibbetts on 06/06/2013 11:30 AM [ comments Comments ]

All Blackberry jokes aside, BBM (Blackberry Messenger) is, and always has been, excellent. Now we know that iOS and Android users will finally be able to download BlackBerry Messenger come June 27 and I might just try it myself.

T-Mobile U.K. tweeted the news on Thursday, even serving up an image of a BBM conversation running on a Samsung Android phone.

The company is also working with other mobile phone makers to preload BBM onto their devices, BlackBerry Chief Operating Officer Kristian Tear told CNET on Wednesday.
