A teen-aged schoolgirl working on a work-experience program in the UK was placed at a local hardware store in Nuneaton, Warwickshire - the teen became bored with stocking shelves and such and decided to look for a way out....or at minimum found that she may be more suited to a career in say - pyrotechnics.
The Express reports, Warwick Crown Court heard that the "intelligent student" set fire to waste cardboard in a cage in the goods inward bay because she was fed up of stacking shelves and wanted to go home for the day.
At least the Justice Centre was close by for this wayward teen
Fire crews were called after the blaze got out of control and swept through the premises in Nuneaton, Warwickshire at lunchtime.
Staff and customers were forced to evacuate as thick black smoke billowed from the store - causing a staggering £1 million worth of damage.
Firefighters battled for half an hour to bring it under control.
The judge in the case ordered her to be examined by a psychiatrist and adjourned the case until the examination could be carried out.
