A man in Tiverton, RI., came home to find 21-year-old Brandon Dunham of Fall River, MA., ransacking his home. This did not sit well with homeowner who proceeded to exact some justice on the young man before police arrived to arrest him.
According to the Herald News, Dunham left behind a trail of shattered glass, broken windows and belongings strewn across the floor, police allege.
That was his first mistake, they said.
The second mistake, police allege, came when he and the homeowner at 14 Rock St., the home he was allegedly burglarizing at the time, came face to face and Dunham tried to push past him, out of the man’s home. He didn't make it very far, and by the look of his mugshot it would seem a fist (or two) may have prevented his escape.
Dunham was taken to Newport Hospital for treatment of cuts and bruises and then returned to Tiverton police to spend the night in jail.
There is no crying in burglary... :'(
