A Daytona North, FL., man was arrested after hitting a man with his .357 in the face; the incident started when he flagged down a man that was "doing donuts' in front of his home.
According to the Journal online, Joshua David Spencer, 43, was arrested Sunday evening and charged with multiple counts of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and shooting a deadly missile after deputies were called to the intersection of Hazelnut Street and Walnut Avenue.
Joseph Dodgen, 51, was driving with his niece and another woman when they were flagged down by Spencer, deputy James Miley reported.
Spencer accused Dodgen of spinning his truck’s wheels in front of his property on Hazelnut, the report states. When Dodgen told him that “his cheese slid off the cracker,” Spencer punched him twice in the face with a pistol.
Dodgen told Miley that Spencer threatened to “put his redneck (expletive deleted) down,” pulled the .357 and hit him twice. Miley reported that Dodgen’s lip was bleeding.
Spencer, a self-admitted convicted felon, according to the report, told Miley that he does not own a weapon, there was no fight and that the victims are “crack heads” trying to get him into trouble. His wife was uncooperative, but said there were no weapons in the house or on the property.
Spencer was booked into the Flagler County Inmate Facility where he remained Tuesday without bail.
