It is safe to say that if you are going to conduct a drug deal via text you might want to check and make sure you have the right number; for this woman I am sure she wishes she could have a mulligan on the whole ordeal.
According to 14News, deputies call this one of the easiest drug busts they've done in a while.
A text auto correct can cause laughter, but odds are Jessie Mulligan isn't after deputies say she hit send on the worst text of her life.
14 News, WFIE, Evansville, Henderson, Owensboro
Mulligan tried to text a friend Friday to say she had some drugs to sell, but she ended up accidentally texting a deputy.
After a few texts back and forth about the drugs, detectives say they arranged for a place to meet, and they say mulligan agreed to show up to deliver the goods.
When Mulligan arrived, deputies arrested her.
"So she was surprised and she probably felt a little bit silly that she had contacted law enforcement," Lt. Stephen Tripp said.
Detectives said the drug Mulligan was trying to sell was fentanyl, an opiate similar to morphine.
Mulligan faces three felony charges related to her wrong number.
