An employee of a cell phone store allegedly forced a female customer into a back room in an attempt to 'convince' her to date him. His ploy failed and hew was arrested for false imprisonment and battery.
CFNews13 reports that the incident allegedly happened at the Metro PCS store in St. Cloud, FL., last week.
A 23-year-old employee, Jaaziah Herrera, was arrested and charged with false imprisonment and battery after he reportedly grabbed a female customer and carried her into the back room, trying to talk her into dating him.
His arrest report said he pinned down her arms when he carried her so she couldn’t get away.
The report also said he then told her to “Look me in the eyes and tell me you don’t want me.”
In the victim’s statement to police, she reportedly said she kept telling Herrera “no” and that her boyfriend would soon be looking for her.
Herrera finally let her go, but when police came to arrest him, they found a 5-foot nylon rope in his pants pocket.
Officers said he claimed to have the rope to practice knot tying.
