In case you are wondering, you can't charge your iPhone 6 in a microwave. But for those who are unsure, the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) stressed in a Tuesday tweet that an iOS 8 microwave-charging feature, dubbed Wave, that has been circulating on the Interwebs is, in fact, fake.
"This #Wave capability is a #hoax. Don't be fooled into microwaving your #iPhone6," the department tweeted.
