Check If You're Vulnerable for EternalBlue, the Exploit Behind WannaCry

Posted by: Timothy Tibbetts on 05/23/2017 05:55 AM [ comments Comments ]

EternalBlue Vulnerability Checker can check whether your computer is patched against EternalBlue, the exploit behind the WannaCry ransomware.

Some people are not aware that the danger isn't in the WannaCry ransomware itself, but in the EternalBlue exploit, which has been using the vulnerability in unpatched Microsoft systems to spread the infection to other unpatched computers.

Double click this portable application and you will be told if you're vulnerable or not. If not, go about your day. If vulnerable, open Windows Update and make sure you're up to date.
