Classic Sonic to Google Play (Video)

Retro is the new chic for sure, and Sega most definitely agrees. Sega has added Classic Sonic the Hedgehog to the Google play store, which is a re-mastered mobile version of the classic 1990's game.

The Sonic game which started it all is now optimized for mobile devices, and will only put you out $2.99 - which is in my opinion a great price for such an iconic game.

Race at lightning speeds across seven classic zones as Sonic the Hedgehog, and now you can also play as Sonic’s friends Tails & Knuckles for the first time ever. Run and spin through loop-de-loops as you collect rings and defeat enemies on your mission to save the world from the evil Dr. Eggman.

It also offers a smooth 60FPS widescreen that will have you collecting those rings in style with the fully re-mastered legendary soundtrack pumping in the background.
