Update: The auction ended at $610,000 with the final bid coming in in the last 30 minutes. As a reminder, all proceeds benefit the RFK Center for Justice and Human Rights.
If you wanted in on the coffee with Tim Cook charity auction then you will need more than $605,000 today to try and win. You will also need bank qualification at this point so you had better hurry, this closes at 4:08 Eastern time. This is a huge number by any calculation and no one is happier than CharityBuzz CEO Coppy Holzman:
“Charitybuzz is blown away by the incredible support we've seen for the RFK Center for Justice and Human Rights through our coffee with Tim Cook online auction. With 140 experiences on the auction block closing this Tuesday to benefit the RFK Center, including exclusive access to Robert DeNiro, Alec Baldwin, Peyton Manning and more, we expect to raise well over one million dollars for human rights.”
Also worth noting according to VentureBeat is that this auction is set to beat the previous record holder from last March when a Lamborghini Aventador set a record for a price we can’t seem to find and none of our sources mention. We do know the car costs roughly $500,000 fully loaded.
