College student stressed from exams sheepishly tells cops wool is comforting

A California college student was arrested for sexually assaulting a sheep used for Fresno States breeding program. The computer engineering student told responding officers that he did it because he was stressed over final exams.
The unnamed student was also under the influence of alcohol, according to police.
A passerby heard unusual noise coming from the sheep unit and called police. According to ABC7, the sheep is being monitored by a veterinarian.
Fresno State Ag students say shock, doesn't even begin to describe what happened on campus. It was late at night, a student heard noises, and found a 23-year-old inside the sheep barn having sex with one of the ewe's.
Student Marisa Burkdoll said, "It's just kind of disgusting and revolting and personally makes me angry, I mean why would ewe do that?"
The male student was charged with sexually assaulting an animal and then released.
