An intoxicated Utah woman was arrested for attempting to set fire to her ex-boyfriend's home by leaving a pound of bacon burning on a stove; Cameo Adawn Crispi (perfect last name) broke into the home after sending multiple harassing text messages to the ex-boyfriend. Crispi bacon!
According to KSL, an officer went to the home. He said Crispi was obviously impaired and there was smoke coming out the front door.
"I asked to come in and observed a wood stove left open with a fire burning inside and hot coals on the floor around the stove," the officer wrote, noting that he also found a cookie sheet loaded with a pound of bacon sitting on top of the kitchen stove.
The officer was able to control the fire and Crispi was then taken into a custody. Her BAC was found to be 0.346, so she was first transported to the hospital for observation.
Crispi was charged with arson, burglary, electronic communication harassment, intoxication and several other charges.
