A CT., man was arrested after he sliced a watermelon with a butcher knife and left the fruit in the kitchen for a woman to see. The woman, who appears to live at the same residence, called police about the fruit slicing and claimed that it was done in a "passive aggressive" manner in order to intimidate her. Drugs are of course involved.
According to the Register Citizen, the woman initially reported that Carmine Cervellino, 49, had taken her plastic bag of marijuana along with a pill container and hidden them in his toolbox. The woman recovered her property and left the residence but Cervellino allegedly took the items again.
When the woman returned home she found the dismembered melon on the counter top, Cervellino returned to the kitchen and proceeded to start cutting more melon.... The woman snapped a picture of the knife and turned it over to police.
Cervellino was charged second-degree threatening and disorderly conduct and released on bond.
