I’ve waited a couple of months to see the autopsy, expecting the worse and it has come true. According to WTVR.com, Dave Brockie, lead singer and mastermind of Richmond, Virginia-based art/shock-rock metal band GWAR, died of an accidental heroin overdose.
Arkuie Williams, State Administrator at Virginia's Office Of The Chief Medical Examiner, said that Brockie's cause of death was "acute heroin toxicity and the manner of death is accident."
To the people I see making comments at the source site; I hope you know karma will get even eventually, something I believe in at least. It’s easy to hide behind a keyboard and make insults about someone and something you know nothing about. I only hope that someday you don’t have to read all sorts of disgusting comments from coward internet trolls about someone you love or care about. Addiction is not a joke.
