Megauploads Kim Dotcom is being extradited to the U.S. Dotcom is set to face a judge again next month in Auckland to face extradition to the U.S.

He was indicted in New Zealand for allegedly violating copyright laws. His website was shuttered in 2012. The indictment alleges that he cost the entertainment business $500 million owing to user-uploaded content.

Dotcom expects to be free on bail while he awaits court appearances and plans to relaunch the site in 2017.

When Dotcom was arrested, the site had more than 150 million users which furnished him with millions. Seized at the time of his arrest were 20 luxury cars, art and millions of dollars invested in local finance companies.
