Siful Hague Sujan, an ISIS hacking pro, was killed in a U.S. drone strike on December 10.
According to a release from U.S. Central Command, Sujan was killed in a drone strike near Raqqah, Syria. Sujan was a Bangladeshi who was educated as a system engineer in the U.K. He led the militant group's hacking initiative, and bolstered ISIS's anti-surveillance technology and weapons development.
Army Col. Steve Warren said in a release, “Now that he's dead, ISIL has lost a key link between networks.”
The strikes occurred between December 7-27 in Syria and Iraq and took out other ISIS leaders that included some believed to be affiliated with the attack for the November 13 Paris terror attacks.
