Police in Israel dismantled an alleged drug ring which was using the recent Facebook acquisition WhatsApp for the purpose of dealing drugs inside the city of Jerusalem.

The 3 ringleaders, aged 17-18, created a 'group' within the application in order to control communications between themselves and the individuals looking to buy drugs.
According to the Times of Israel, dozens of students from schools across the capital were members in the group.
It is believed that when transactions or meetings were about to take place, code words were used in the online forum. Among the expressions were “bring the eggplant” and “deliver the movies,” presumably a reference to hashish, a marijuana derivative.
Sales must have been slow during the time the WhatsApp servers were down the other day... No eggplant for you - Oy Vey!!!
